Basis of the assignment is the detailed assignment specification, which is produced after conclusion of the contract. This a mutually agreed specification of the position, the qualification of possible candidates and the environment in the clients company. Thus, it represents the description of what the client is looking for and ChrobakPartner has to search for. Our broad spectrum of international experience and our in-depth knowledge of international recruiting markets allow us to advise our clients especially in those situations where an international or multinational recruiting assignment has been awarded.Internal Chrobak Partner Search Team, identification of candidates, pre-selection processThe start of our search is a target company list, which is the basis of work for our own internal search team. The search list is produced from the accurate knowledge and investigation of the appropriate human resource markets for potential candidates. It will contain sources from where qualified candidates can be approached. The Chrobak Partner search team then identifies those candidates by name and function, without directly approaching them.Closer selection, only direct approachFrom the target company list the project responsible consultant the performs a pre-selection for those candidates, to be directly approached by him on the telephone in a first contact.First telephone contact The initial first telephone contact between consultant and candidate tries to establish:• Current position• Education and qualification• Current salary• General exclusion criteria• Possible qualification for the assigned position• Agreement on first personal contactPersonal contact and interview The first personal contact between the consultant and the candidate takes an interview time of about 3 hours. Ideally, the candidate supplies his CV at this point. An analysis of his career and qualification, his structure of mind, his professional experience, as well as his social background and family are performed.Verification of the curriculum vitaeAfter the first personal contact the candidates CV is verified and checked. If necessary addional sources of information are exploited to find out more about the candidate.Production of the Personal History (PH)Having verified the CV of the candidate and anonymizated and standardized, full length report, the Personal History (PH), is produced containing the following information:• General data of the candidate• Education• Knowledge of foreign languages• Formal training• Current position and availability• General conditions, current and future salary, times of notice etc.• Business experience, responsibility and qualification• Reasons and motives for a possible change of jobs• Personal impression, special interests and main list of professional projectsSubmission of the PHs to the clientThe PH’S will be delivered directly to the manager of Human Resources for validation. Our client makes a pre-selection of those candidates the client would prefer to see in the individual interview.Invitation to interview Chrobak Partner is responsible for all arrangements, which lead to the first individual interview on the client’s premises. At this point, the clients name will be disclosed to the selected candidates.First individual interview on the clients premisesThe first individual interview with each candidate takes place together with the responsible consultant. After the interview a first short analysis is performed. Should the candidate be „the right man/woman“ for the job a second interview will be arranged with the candidate.Second individual interview on the clients premises The second interview generally takes place without the responsible consultant from ChrobakPartner. Here normally all conditions of the employment contract will be agreed with the candidate.Contract and Compensation Should there be any problems or misunderstandings in the formulation of the employment contract, Chrobak Partner will support both parties to clarify and agree in the formulation of it.Successful Conclusion of the assignment/Guarantee It is obvious that we regard an assignment to be concluded, if a position within the client’s company has been filled successfully on a long-term basis. We follow the hired candidates initial development and progress in the clients company. In case he fails to meet the professional requirements specified by the client, or gives notice within 6 months of the start of employment despite the companys fulfillment of the employment contract conditions, we will reopen the search with no further fee, only out-of-pocket expenses, being chargedGeneral ConditionsThe client has the right to call off the assignment at any time for any reason. However, once we have received the clients approval, the first installment is payable in any case. If the assignment is cancelled at a time when part of our fee is still outstanding, we will bill the installment and expenses for the month in which the search is stopped.
